JOB OVERVIEW

We make hand-drawn infographics, illustrated charts and data visualisations drawn by hand with coloured pencil and marker on dot-grid paper, (examples below). We need a talented artist to recreate designs we provide and record themselves drawing them, so we can make time-lapse drawing videos.
You don't design anything yourself. We give you the exact layout, colours, and content. You draw it neatly and film the process.

Responsibilities
- Reproduce our infographic designs by hand. Illustrations, hand-lettering, and charts
- Record yourself drawing from a top-down / overhead angle
- Match our colors, proportions, and style closely
- Deliver on time and apply feedback
- You will not need to edit the videos, you just need to record a video of you drawing the illustrations for us to use.

Requirements
- Strong freehand drawing and hand-lettering skills
- Able to copy a reference design accurately and neatly
- Comfortable recording yourself drawing
- Reliable internet and communication

Trial task

Here is one specific section of an infographic to draw: ----------

Please record yourself drawing it as best you can with the equipment you have now, even a phone held overhead is fine. We're judging your drawing skill and how closely you follow the reference, not your camera quality yet.
If it goes well, we'll provide budget to buy all the equipment you need (lighting, stand, background) to make professional, high-quality videos, with steady ongoing work.
