Summary
We're looking for a YouTube Shorts Editor to collaborate with a YouTube project in the movie-style niche.
At the beginning the channel will be publishing 7 times per week, scaling up to 3 Shorts per day over time, and we're building a long-term collaboration with an editor who understands how pacing, hooks, and the small details of a clip shape viewer attention and retention.
For reference, the style we're going for is similar to these channels:
What you'll be working on:
• Editing movie clips and scenes into engaging shorts (we'll provide clear references and expectations)
• Adding clean captions/subtitles, sound effects, and music that fit the
• Maintaining a consistent style and format across the channel
Requirements:
• You MUST have proven experience editing Shorts in a style similar to the reference channels. If your past work doesn't clearly match this, you will not be considered and you will be ignored, so please only apply if your examples genuinely reflect what we're after.
• Confident with editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Topaz Video AI)
• Strong sense of short-form pacing, timing, and what keeps people watching
• Comfortable with a steady volume and consistent turnaround
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to complete a small test task
Work details:
• Payment monthly, daily, or per project (whichever works best for you)
