JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Freelance Video Editor & Retoucher (Luxury Beauty & Fashion Aesthetic)

We are seeking an exceptionally talented freelance Video Editor and Photo Retoucher to support a premium professional beauty brand. Depending on the individual and skills there may be more or less work - but we estimate 10 hours per week (could be more depending on your c.v. and experience).

This is not a high-volume content role. We are looking for someone with a refined visual eye who understands luxury branding, premium beauty, fashion-led storytelling and sophisticated content production.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Editing short-form social media videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Colour grading and visual refinement
• Retouching and enhancing still photography
• Creating polished, premium content from raw footage and imagery
• Maintaining a consistent brand aesthetic across all visual assets

• High-end editorial and fashion campaigns

Our preference is for content that feels:

• Clean and sophisticated
• Minimal and intentional
• Elegant and premium
• Contemporary and design-led
• Confident rather than loud
• Focused on quality, composition and detail

We are NOT looking for:

• Excessive transitions
• Busy graphics
• Overuse of effects
• Heavy text overlays
• Trend-driven editing that quickly dates
• Content that feels cluttered or visually noisy

Ideal Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously worked with:

• Luxury brands
• Premium beauty brands
• Fashion brands
• Premium consumer products
• Creative agencies servicing high-end clients

Experience working with internationally recognised brands, premium agencies or luxury-focused creative teams will be highly regarded.

Important

We are looking for quality over quantity.

A smaller portfolio demonstrating exceptional taste, judgement and attention to detail is preferred over a large portfolio containing a broad mix of styles.

We value strong visual judgement, restraint, consistency and the ability to create content that feels premium, timeless and professionally art-directed.
