We are an established Australian furniture removals and relocation company seeking a highly organised, customer-focused General Manager to help run the business.
This is a long-term position with significant responsibility and growth opportunities for the right person.
You will work directly with the business owner and ultimately become responsible for many of the day-to-day functions of the company.
About The Role
Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that customer enquiries are handled quickly and professionally, quotes are prepared accurately, bookings are secured, and operations run smoothly.
You will become an integral part of our business and help manage operations across multiple Australian locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming phone calls quickly & professionally
* Respond promptly to SMS messages,
* Prepare and send customer quotations
* Follow up outstanding quotations
* Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
* Coordinate schedules for removal crews and vehicles
* Manage customer communications before, during, and after moves
* Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
* Maintain accurate records and update company systems
* Assist with operational planning and workflow management
* Monitor job progress and ensure customer satisfaction
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
