JOB OVERVIEW

We're Counter, a high-protein frozen food brand in the US. Our TikToks are real college students doing street interviews: handing strangers our food and filming their reactions. We're hiring one editor to cut these for the long haul. You get added to our Slack and work straight with us.

HOW IT WORKS

We drop raw footage in a Google Drive folder. You turn it into native 10 to 20 second vertical TikToks. You edit only, no filming. Multiple videos a week.

THE LOOK WE WANT

Go watch SubwayTakes, Grillo's Pickles, and What's Poppin With Davis. Fast and native, like a real person cut it on their phone. Hard jump cuts. Word-by-word captions synced to the talking, sitting low, never over the face. Keep the real audio and reactions up front.

One move we love, the "face freeze": on a funny or grossed-out reaction, freeze the frame, punch-zoom in, and drop ONE sound (a gasp, a record scratch, a vine boom). Once a video, twice at the most.

WHAT GETS A VIDEO REJECTED

- No cha-ching, click, or whoosh sounds on cuts.
- No emojis, stickers, or graphics flying around the screen.
- No glitch or spin transitions, no CapCut "viral template" look, no watermark.

If it looks like a dropshipping ad, it is wrong.

TOOLS

CapCut or Premiere. You fix the auto-captions by hand so brand names are right.

PAY

$10 to $15 per finished video, paid weekly through Wise or Payoneer. Viral bonus on top when one of your edits hits big views in its first week. Honest heads up: this is a brand new program, so the first few weeks will be a little bumpy while we dial it in together.
