JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Remote Position
10–20 Hours Per Week
Potential for Long-Term Growth

We operate two international film festivals and are looking for a highly motivated researcher and outreach specialist to help us identify and recruit filmmakers from around the world.
This is not a typical virtual assistant position.

We are seeking someone who enjoys research, finding information online, building databases, and communicating professionally with creative professionals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Research film festivals and festival lineups
* Identify films accepted to other film festivals
* Research filmmakers, directors, producers, and contact information
* Build and maintain prospect databases
* Track film festival announcements, award winners, and official selections
* Send personalized outreach messages to filmmakers
* Track responses and submission activity
* Monitor filmmaker communities and industry groups online
* Assist with social media scheduling and engagement
* Help promote festival deadlines and announcements

IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Excellent written English
* Strong internet research skills
* Highly organized and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working independently
* Familiar with spreadsheets and online databases
* Professional communication skills
* Reliable internet connection

BONUS SKILLS
* Experience with lead generation or prospect research
* Social media marketing experience
* Canva and Capcut experience
* Interest in film, filmmaking, entertainment, or the arts
* Experience working remotely
