# Brand Marketing Coordinator
**Karst — North Charleston, SC**
Karst is a strategic merch and creative agency. We help lifestyle and growth-stage brands extend who they are into the physical world — intentionally, at scale, never the disposable junk that ends up in a drawer. We've been doing it since 1996.
Here's the honest version of why this role exists:
Our founder has the marketing strategy. The ideas, the calendar, the direction — all there. What's missing is the person who takes it and *makes it real*. Designs it, builds it, posts it, ships it.
That's you.
This isn't a brief-and-wait role. You'll own marketing execution end to end, so the strategy actually leaves the building instead of dying in a doc.
## What you'll own
- **Internal marketing.** You turn strategy and rough ideas into finished, on-brand work.
- **Social content.** We hand you a bucket of ideas and raw material — you finesse it, design it, schedule it, and actually hit publish.
- **HubSpot.**
- **WordPress.** Updates, campaign hubs, landing pages, keeping the site sharp.
- **Quality control** on any overflow design we send to contractors — so the founder doesn't have to babysit it.
## Who you are
- You've spent **at least 3 years doing marketing execution** — not studying it, not "assisting with" it. Designing, building, posting, owning it.
- You can design *and* organize. Rare combo. That's the whole point of this seat.
- **HubSpot:** you've built
- **WordPress:** you've built and edited pages, not only written blog posts.
- You're sharp in Canva and ideally Adobe, and you have a portfolio that proves it.
- You'd rather own a thing than wait for instructions. You won't get daily art direction here.
- You have taste, you sweat the details, and you'll tell us when something's off-brand or not good enough yet.
Honestly? I care less about the exact year count than what you can show me. But green won't cut it for this seat — you'll be running things, not learning them on our dime.
## This isn't your seat if
- You need a detailed brief and a sign-off before every task.
- "Marketing" to you means scheduling posts someone else designed.
- You're juggling five other clients and this would be gig number six.
- You don't have work to show.
## What the first 90 days look like
- The backlog of strategized-but-never-posted content is live.
- Social is consistent — and it looks like us.
- The founder is out of the execution weeds and back in the strategy seat where she belongs.
## Logistics
- **Type:** Full-time, remote
- **Hours:** Some daily overlap with US Eastern time (we'll work out specifics)
## To apply
Read this whole post first. Then:
- Send your **portfolio link.** No link, no read. We want social,
- Pick one piece you took from idea to live, and tell us in a few sentences what you'd change about it now. We're reading how you think, not just what you made.
- Start your message with the word **"Unsupervised"** so we know you made it to the bottom.
Applications that skip these get deleted. Nothing personal — it's just the first test.
