## Compensation
Per-package pricing (no video = no pay):
**Starting Rate (Trial + First Month):**
- $50 per video package
- Includes:
- 1 long-form YouTube video (5–10 min final runtime)
- 5–7 short-form vertical clips
- 1 custom thumbnail
**Scaling Rate (After Proven Consistency):**
- $75–$100 per package after 4–6 successful deliveries
- Based on quality, reliability, and communication
**Additional standalone shorts:**
- $5 each
- $6–$8 if heavier editing or custom graphics required
**Payment Schedule:**
- Every 2 weeks
- Only for packages actually delivered and approved

## What You'll Be Editing
You will primarily edit:

You will also create:

- LinkedIn vertical clips

## Responsibilities
### Long-Form Editing
You will:
- remove mistakes, pauses, filler words
- tighten pacing for retention
- add subtle zoom cuts and jump cuts
- add clean captions and text emphasis
- add occasional b-roll and overlays
- integrate provided infographics and visuals
- use light background music and subtle sound design
- maintain a clean, modern YouTube pacing style
### Short-Form Content
From each long-form video:
- identify strong hook
- create 5–7 vertical clips
- format properly for 9:16 platforms
- add captions and pacing optimized for retention
- create clips that drive viewers toward the long-form video
**IMPORTANT:**
Shorts should feel like previews and curiosity-builders — not full summaries.
### Thumbnails
You will create 1 custom thumbnail per long-form video:
- clean, modern design
- clear focal point
- readable text at small sizes
- consistent with channel branding
### Visual / Graphics Work
You may occasionally:
- add simple motion graphics
- integrate charts and infographics
- use stock footage selectively
- organize visuals to improve understanding
Most visuals and scripts will be provided.
