ROLE SUMMARY:
The Billing/AR Specialist is responsible for accurate execution of billing, collections, and cash application tasks, as well as timely resolution of exceptions, to ensure financial operations run smoothly. The role includes processing customer invoices in accordance with customer requirements, verifying carrier payment information, applying customer payments accurately, and resolving payment issues promptly with both internal and external teams. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and meticulous exception management.

Regular Weekly Schedule (40 hours): Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time with 1-hour unpaid lunch break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Eastern. Overtime (40+ hours) requires manager approval.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Process carrier paperwork and billing via Triumphpay/Revenova; ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements
-Apply customer payments accurately
-Timely resolution of unidentified payments and customer payment discrepancies
-Responsible for on-time payment collection from assigned customers

COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be determined based on experience. All payments are issued in USD via Wise.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics/3PL industry
-Minimum of 2 years of Billing/AR experience, preferably within the logistics/3PL industry
-Strong written and verbal English communication skills
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Exceptional organizational and time management skills

-A reliable computer with high-speed internet (Backup internet source (mobile hotspot or secondary line preferred)
