We're an established real estate company in Ohio, USA. We own and operate apartment, retail, and flex properties, and our business already runs on Appfolio and ShowMojo. Right now the two owners handle the day-to-day ourselves — we're hiring an experienced remote Property Management Coordinator to take it over. Needs to be available 9-5 pm EST Monday - Friday.
You'll be the hub of our operations. Tenants, vendors, and our on-site people in the US all run through you. You won't do physical repairs — you'll make sure the right person does, and that every issue gets fully resolved and *closed*.
**What you'll own:**
- Work orders in Appfolio — from the tenant's request through dispatch, follow-up, and close-out
- Tenant communication — you're the main point of contact, including calming upset tenants (which we usually don't have upset tenants)
- Vendor coordination — scheduling, follow-up, and getting and comparing bids
- Late rent and 3-day-notice process; coordinating with our attorney on evictions
- Recurring compliance and scheduled maintenance (inspections, etc.)
- Leasing coordination in ShowMojo w/ our onsite leasing staff for multifamily and you will handle basic inquires for non onsite staffed properties
- Coordinating our local US field staff across multiple markets
- A weekly KPI scorecard, and helping run our weekly tea
**You must have:**
- Experience managing **US multifamily (apartment) properties** — required
- **Hands-on Appfolio experience** — required
- A **proven track record of reliably working US-Eastern hours** — tell me how long you've done it and for whom
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A reliable computer, fast internet, and a quiet place to work and comfortable speaking on phone to tenants, vendors, and fielding leasing and other calls
- Comfort with KPIs and EOS / Level 10 meetings (a plus)
We already have a Filipino tea
**To apply — read carefully, because this is how I filter:**
1. Start your application with the phrase **"I CLOSE THE LOOP"** so I know you read the whole post.
2. Tell me your years of Appfolio experience and your years managing US multifamily.
3. Tell me how long you've worked US-Eastern hours, and for which companies.
4. Briefly describe one property problem you took from first report all the way to fully resolved — and how you kept it moving.
5. Attach a 60–90 second video introducing yourself — and tell us about *you*, not just your résumé. What matters to you, what you're proud of, or what kind of team helps you do your best work. We care who we work with, so we genuinely want to meet you. (It also lets us hear your English.)
Applications without the phrase and the recording won't be reviewed.
