Accountant (Remote, Outsourced Client Accounting)
Two things before you apply:
1. You must be able to work a CST schedule.
2. You must have real accounting experience.
About the Role
We are an outsourced accounting firm looking for a sharp, dependable Accountant to own AR, AP, and month-end work across a portfolio of clients. You will run the full transactional cycle and the reconciliations that close the books, not just data entry. If you like clean numbers, tight deadlines, and clients who count on you, you will fit here.
This is a client-facing role in a fast-paced environment. We hire people with strong judgment, clear communication, and the integrity to flag a problem instead of burying it.
What You’ll Own
Accounts Receivable
• Generate and send client invoices
• Post cash receipts and apply credit card payments accurately
• Run collections follow-up and track outstanding balances
• Maintain AR aging and escalate issues early
Accounts Payable
• Code and post vendor invoices to the right accounts and periods
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and execute payment runs (checks, ACH, wires)
• Chase down missing bills from clients and vendors
• Keep job completion entries accurate
Month-End Close
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
• Run Syncore bank recs and support month-end close in Syncore
• Reconcile client QuickBooks data against Syncore
• Investigate and resolve cross-system variances
• Post general ledger adjustments and journal entries
As part of our team, you'll enjoy:
• Stable, long-term employment with a growing organization.
• Direct exposure to U.S.-based clients, allowing you to develop valuable client-facing and professional communication skills.
• Career growth opportunities as the company continues to expand.
• A collaborative and supportive team environment where knowledge sharing and teamwork are encouraged.
• Performance-based compensation reviews that recognize strong contributions and consistent results.
• Training and professional development opportunities to help you build your skills and advance your career.
