JOB OVERVIEW

Direct Response Print Designer (US Nutraceutical / Magalog / Direct Mail)

Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced, creative, and conversion-focused direct response print designer for a US nutraceutical / supplement marketing business.

This is NOT a branding project.
This is NOT modern web / startup design.
This is NOT social media creative.

We are specifically looking for someone who understands direct response conversion design for print and can bring fresh ideas to existing concepts.

Our target audience is US seniors (60+), so readability, trust, hierarchy, and intuitive information flow are absolutely critical.

You should have experience designing:

* Magalogs
* Direct mail packages
* Sales letters
* Order forms
* Retention letters
* Parcel inserts

What we need:

We have an existing direct mail concept that needs to be completely reworked and redesigned.

The objective is to transform the current concept into a much stronger direct response package with its own visual identity.

We are not looking for someone who simply follows instructions.

We are looking for a creative designer who can challenge existing layouts, improve the reader experience, develop stronger visual concepts, and contribute ideas that improve conversion performance.

Important:

This is conversion-focused print design.

We care far more about:

* Readability
* Visual trust
* Left-to-right reading flow
* Page pacing
* Hierarchy
* Senior-friendly layouts
* Direct response psychology

Than about:

* Trendy aesthetics
* Flashy design
* Minimalist branding

This audience is older, so the design must be:

* Simple
* Intuitive
* Easy to read
* Visually structured
* Comfortable to consume
* Built to guide the reader naturally through the offer

For the initial test:

You will redesign the first 3 pages of the concept.

You are free to:

* Rethink the layout entirely
* Move content blocks
* Reorganize sections
* Improve hierarchy
* Use placeholder text where appropriate

If the test is successful, the opportunity can evolve into a full-time position working on multiple direct response print projects.

The initial project includes redesigning the entire package, including:

* Full magalog
* Order forms
* Response forms
* Additional print assets

Required experience:

Please ONLY apply if you have real experience with:

* US nutraceutical direct response
* Supplement offers
* Print conversion creative
* Direct mail packages
* Adobe InDesign

Additional requirements:

* Fluent English (written and spoken)
* Strong understanding of US consumer marketing
* Ability to communicate ideas and design decisions clearly
* Creative mindset with the confidence to propose improvements and new concepts

When applying, please include relevant samples of direct response print work, including magalogs, sales letters, direct mail packages, supplement offers, retention pieces, or similar conversion-focused print materials.

Salary: $800–1,200/month depending on experience
