JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring video editor(s) for a fast-growing DTC health brand.

This is for someone who can create clean, high-retention, performance-focused video ads across short-form, UGC-style ads, Reels/TikTok content, VSL-style creatives, landing page videos, and other ecommerce creative formats.

Experienced ecommerce/direct-response editors are highly preferred, but if you are a killer editor with strong taste, speed, and hunger, you should still apply.

We can train the ecommerce/direct-response side if you already have strong editing fundamentals.

What you'll work on:
- Short-form ads for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta, and other paid/social platforms.
- UGC-style video ads.
- VSL-style creatives.
- Product-focused videos.
- Hook variations and cutdowns.
- AI-assisted assets, B-roll, animations, graphics, and visual enhancements.
- Ecommerce ad creatives built around pacing, clarity, retention, and storytelling.

What we're looking for:
- Strong video editing skills.
- Strong sense of pacing, retention, captions, visual rhythm, and storytelling.
- You understand TikTok, Reels, Shorts, UGC, and modern social content.
- You can follow direction closely and match the style/vibe of provided references.
- You can work fast without making sloppy mistakes.
- You have good English comprehension and understand the nuance/vibe of scripts.
- You are comfortable using AI tools or willing to learn them fast.
- You are reliable, responsive, and can hit deadlines.
- You are coachable and hungry to improve.

Big bonus points:
- You have edited ecommerce, DTC, health, or performance-marketing videos before.
- You understand direct-response creative.
- You have worked with 7-9 figure brands before.
- You have edited ads that performed well.
- You can explain why a hook, cut, caption, or pacing choice worked.
- You have experience with VSLs, YouTube editing, creator content, or high-retention long-form editing.
- You want to grow into a Lead Editor, Creative Strategist, UGC Manager, or Creative Lead role.

Important:
We do not care about flashy transitions just for the sake of looking fancy.

We care about edits that make people stop scrolling, keep watching, understand the message, trust the product, and take action.

Async screening:
We do not do intro calls for the first screen.
