About the Role
Polished Financial is looking for a Course Development & LMS Specialist to help build our training courses from the ground up.
We want to be transparent: some content is already available, but it needs to be organized, structured, uploaded, and built into our LMS platform. This person will help turn our existing materials, videos, notes, and resources into a professional online training experience.
This role is ideal for someone who understands course creation, online learning platforms, and how to make training easy to follow for students.
Primary Goal
Build, organize, and manage Polished Financial’s training courses inside the LMS platform so students have a clear, professional, and easy to navigate learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
Build courses from the ground up inside the LMS platform
Review existing content and organize it into modules and lessons
Upload videos, documents, worksheets, quizzes, and resources
Create course outlines, lesson structure, and learning paths
Format course materials so they are clean, branded, and easy to follow
Assist with creating missing content when needed
Build quizzes, assignments, completion steps, and certificates
Ensure all links, videos, downloads, and lessons function properly
Help create onboarding instructions for students
Update course content as needed
Maintain consistency across all courses and training materials
Provide recommendations to improve the student experience
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means taking scattered content and turning it into a polished, organized, and professional training program. Students should be able to log into the LMS, follow the course step by step, access their materials easily, and complete the training with confidence.
Ideal Skills
Experience building courses in an LMS platform
Strong organization and attention to detail
Ability to structure content into clear modules and lessons
Canva or presentation design experience
Basic video editing experience
Strong written communication skills
Experience creating quizzes, worksheets, and learning materials
Ability to work independently and build from scratch
Compensation
Compensation is 100% negotiable for the right candidate and will be based on experience, skill level, and ability to build a professional training platform from the ground up.
