About EasyMate
EasyMate.ai helps small and medium-sized businesses use AI to automate customer-facing operations, from capturing leads to answering questions, following up, supporting customers, and growing revenue.
EasyMate is built for non-technical business owners who do not have large teams, expensive software systems, or technical expertise. EasyMate configures the right AI assistants and solutions for SMB owners based on their business problems. They don't have to learn AI.

The Role
We're looking for an SEO & AEO Specialist who lives at the intersection of traditional search and AI answer engines. This isn't a "write blogs and hope for the best" role. You'll own our entire organic visibility strategy — from technical SEO to making sure EasyMate gets cited when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews about AI-powered coaching tools.
AEO is still new territory. We want someone who's actively thinking about it, experimenting with it, and can build our playbook — not someone who learned about it in a webinar last week.

What You'll Own
- Organic Search (SEO)
- Build and execute our keyword and topical authority strategy from the ground up
- Conduct technical SEO audits and work with our dev team to implement fixes (Core Web Vitals, crawlability, schema markup, site architecture)
- Develop a hub-and-spoke content architecture that establishes EasyMate as the definitive resource for AI-powered coaching tools
- Build and track our backlink strategy — earned, not bought

AI Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
- Optimize content to be cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews
- Apply structured content frameworks (answer-first formatting, EAV coverage, brand authority statements) to maximize AI citation rates
- Monitor EasyMate's visibility across AI platforms and identify gaps
- Detect and eliminate LLM deprioritization signals (thin content, unedited AI patterns, missing E-E-A-T signals) across our content library

Content Strategy & Production
- Develop a content calendar aligned to search intent, competitive gaps, and topical authority building
- Write or direct the writing of long-form blog content (2,000+ words) that earns both search rankings and AI citations
- Ensure every piece of content includes verifiable claims, data points, and definitive positioning — the kind of content LLMs actually cite
- Maintain content freshness across the entire library (not just new posts)
- Analytics & Reporting
- Set up and own our SEO/AEO reporting stack
- Track rankings, organic traffic, AI citation frequency, and content ROI
- Translate data into clear recommendations, not just dashboards

What We're Looking For
Must-haves
- 3–5 years of SEO experience with a track record of measurable organic growth
- Demonstrated understanding of AEO — you know what makes content get cited by AI systems and can articulate it clearly
- Strong grasp of semantic SEO, topical authority building, and content architecture (not just keyword stuffing)
- Hands-on experience with technical SEO: schema markup, structured data, Core Web Vitals, crawl optimization
- Ability to write — or edit and direct — high-quality long-form content
- Fluency with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog
- Schedule: Based in Jakarta with reliable high-speed internet. You must be comfortable with a 3 to 4-hour overlap with U.S. Pacific Time (typical either evening/night hours in Jakarta).
- Grit: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where you are expected to ship multiple experiments weekly.

Nice-to-haves
- Experience in B2B SaaS or AI/tech categories
- Familiarity with frameworks like Holistic SEO (Koray Tugberk Gubur) or AEO strategy (Evan Bailyn / First Page Sage)
- Experience building an SEO function from scratch at an early-stage startup
- Basic understanding of how LLMs parse and cite web content

Who thrives here
- You can move fast without waiting for a perfect brief
- You think in systems, not one-off tasks
- You're genuinely curious about where search is going — and you have opinions about it
- You're comfortable being the only person owning this function for now

Why Join EasyMate
- Ground-floor opportunity to define the SEO/AEO playbook for an emerging AI product category
- Direct impact — your work will be one of our primary growth levers
- Async-friendly, remote team
- Work on a product that's genuinely novel (and fun to explain)
- Mentorship: Direct exposure to scaling an AI startup alongside the founder.
- Freedom: 100% remote work with a high-trust, results-only culture.
