About Us
Open Water Septic is a growing family-owned septic service company based in Georgia, USA. We help homeowners and businesses with septic tank pumping, septic backups, inspections, hydrojetting, sewer camera inspections, and related service needs.

We are looking for a long-term remote tea ---------- mber in the Philippines who can answer inbound customer calls, help customers understand our services, and book appointments accurately. This is a phone-first role for someone with excellent spoken English neutral or light accent, good judgment, and a calm, professional customer service style.

Customers are calling us because they already need septic service. However, this is not only basic customer support. The right person must be comfortable helping ready-to-book customers get scheduled, and must also know how to explain our value when a caller is shopping around, unsure, or comparing prices.

Main Responsibilities

Phone-Based Customer Care & Booking — 60%
• Answer inbound calls from U.S. customers with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
• Schedule septic service appointments in Jobber CRM and enter accurate customer details.
• Explain basic pricing clearly and confidently.
• Ask the right questions about the customer’s issue, location, tank size, timing, and access.
• Help customers understand why Open Water Septic is a strong choice when they are comparing providers.
• Send follow-up texts and emails to customers who requested pricing but did not book.
• Coordinate with the owner and field technician so service details are clear before arrival.
• Process basic payment and billing questions according to company instructions.

Administrative Support — 20%
• Keep organized notes, customer records, and follow-up tasks.
• Assist with unpaid invoice follow-up and simple reports.
• Help improve scripts, templates, and customer communication over time.

Social Media Support — 20%
• Prepare simple Facebook and Instagram posts using provided photos, service updates, and guidance.
• Respond to basic messages and route service requests quickly.
• Help organize job photos and customer review opportunities.

Service Advantages You Will Learn to Explain

Open Water Septic does more than basic septic pumping. Our service truck can bring multiple solutions to one visit, including:

• A septic pump truck for tank pump-outs.
• A hydrojetter that can blast clogs out of lines at up to 3,000 PSI and reach up to 200 feet.
• A sewer camera that can inspect lines in color and record photos/videos up to 150 feet.

This matters because some septic problems are not only a full tank. If there is a clog or line issue, we may be able to help during the same visit instead of the customer needing to call another company, pay another fee, and wait another day.

What We Are Looking For

Required Experience
• 3+ years phone-based customer service, appointment setting, inbound sales, dispatch, or BPO experience.
• Experience speaking with U.S., Canadian, Australian, or U.K. customers.
• Experience working night shift or U.S. business hours from the Philippines.
• CRM experience preferred; Jobber experience is a plus.
• Home services, plumbing, HVAC, pest control, roofing, garage door, or similar service company experience is a strong plus.

Spoken English Requirement
• Strong spoken English is required because this role involves live phone calls with U.S. customers. No accent or light accent required.
• You must be easy for U.S. callers to understand over the phone.
• You must be able to understand customers without repeatedly asking them to repeat themselves.
• You must be able to explain pricing and service benefits naturally, not just read a script.

Skills and Qualities
• Warm, patient, and confident phone manner.
• Comfortable asking for the booking when the customer is ready.
• Detail-oriented and accurate with names, addresses, phone numbers, prices, and scheduling notes.
• Able to memorize simple pricing and local service area towns.
• Reliable attendance and strong follow-through.
• Good judgment when a customer is upset, has an emergency, or needs a technician quickly.
• Willing to learn basic septic service language over time.

Technical Requirements
• Reliable computer suitable for voice calls, CRM work, email, and basic social media tasks.
• Stable internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Backup internet connection, such as mobile data or a second ISP.
• Quiet workspace for professional customer calls.
• Quality headset with noise-canceling microphone.
• Ability to use phone/CRM systems, email, text messaging tools, Google Workspace, and basic design tools such as Canva.

Information You Will Be Expected to Learn

The right candidate does not need septic experience on day one. We will train you. However, you must be able to memorize and use simple information, including:

• Basic pump-out pricing, including common tank sizes.
• Which towns are in our service area.
• How to explain pump-outs, septic backups, hydrojetting, and camera inspections in simple customer-friendly language.
• How to identify when a customer is ready to book versus when they need a follow-up.

Compensation
Base Pay USD $500-$1,000/month, depending on demonstrated phone skill and experience.
Performance Bonus Possible $50-$100/month based on attendance, call quality, booking accuracy, calls converting into jobs, and customer communication.
Payment Schedule Paid twice monthly through an agreed payment platform such as Payoneer, Wise, EasyPay, or similar.
Growth Opportunity Long-term role with room for rate increases as performance and company growth support it.

Contractor Relationship
This is an independent contractor role. The contractor will:
• Complete IRS Form W-8BEN for U.S. tax purposes.
• Handle their own Philippine tax obligations.
• Use their own equipment, internet connection, and workspace.
• Be paid a flat contracted monthly rate plus any earned bonus.
