This role involves managing the full cycle of accounting and bookkeeping operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and preparing essential financial reports. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining compliance with accounting standards and providing financial insights to support management decisions. You will be working 40 hours/week during American business hours and get paid weekly + HMO.

Key Responsibilities:
•Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
•Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries
•Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and vendor accounts on a monthly basis
•Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
•Process payroll entries and ensure proper classification of expenses
•Monitor budgets and assist in forecasting and financial planning
•Maintain compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
•Work closely with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making
•Support audits by preparing required documentation and reports
•Ensure data integrity within QuickBooks and other accounting systems
Key Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
•Experience working with U.S.-based clients and/or companies
•Minimum 4 years of accounting experience using QuickBooks
•Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards
•Experience with bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger management
•High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
