About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Amazon Operations Expert to own and optimize our Amazon business end to end. This person will be responsible for the full operational lifecycle of our Amazon catalog, from listing creation and health maintenance to FBA logistics, advertising, and performance compliance. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, knows the Seller Central platform inside and out, and brings a data-first mindset to every decision.
Key Responsibilities
Catalog and Listing Management
• Build and maintain product listings including titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ Content, and backend search terms in line with Amazon style guidelines
• Manage flat file uploads and bulk listing operations for large catalog sets
• Troubleshoot suppressed, stranded, or inactive listings and resolve catalog errors in a timely manner
• Ensure ASIN compliance with Amazon's category-specific requirements and stay current on policy changes
FBA Operations and Inventory
• Create and manage FBA and AWD shipment plans, coordinate with 3PL and freight partners, and monitor inbound shipment status
• Maintain healthy IPI scores and stranded/excess inventory levels within target thresholds
• Forecast replenishment needs using sell-through data and lead time inputs to avoid stockouts or long-term storage fees
• Oversee FBA label requirements, prep standards, and carton content accuracy
Account Health and Compliance
• Monitor and respond to Account Health dashboard alerts, customer feedback, and A-to-Z claims
• Draft and submit Plan of Action responses and escalations to Seller Support when required
• Maintain compliance with Amazon's policies across product safety, restricted categories, and brand registry
Reporting and Performance Analysis
• Pull and interpret Business Reports, Inventory Performance data, and advertising reports on a weekly and monthly basis
• Build and maintain performance dashboards in Google Sheets or Excel to track key KPIs across the catalog
• Identify trends, flag issues proactively, and present actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders
Requirements
• 3 or more years of direct experience managing an Amazon Seller Central account (FBA and FBM)
• Experience selling on additional platforms such as Walmart Marketplace or Target Plus
• Deep familiarity with Seller Central tools including Manage Inventory, Inventory Planning, Shipment Queue, Advertising Console, Brand Registry, and Account Health
• Proficiency with flat file templates and bulk upload processes across multiple product categories
• Working knowledge of Amazon ranking factors, keyword research, and listing optimization best practices
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formula work
• Solid understanding of FBA cost structure including referral fees, fulfillment fees, and storage fees
• Experience managing Sponsored Products campaigns with a track record of hitting ACOS/ROAS goals
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting listing copy, Seller Support cases, and internal reporting
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with third-party tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive, Pacvue, Perpetua, Sellersprite
• Background working with licensed consumer brands or in a product sourcing / import environment
• Basic understanding of dimensional weight, freight terms, and import logistics
What You Will Own
You will have direct ownership over Amazon catalog health, FBA inventory operations, advertising performance, and account compliance. You will work closely with the product and sourcing team to launch new items, maintain existing listings, and grow our Amazon revenue. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with real ownership from day one.
