We are hiring a part-time SEO Content Specialist to help review and improve local service business web pages before they are published.
IMPORTANT:
This is primarily an SEO content review and optimization role, not a web design role.
We already have a page builder. We need someone who understands content structure, local SEO, H1/H2/H3 hierarchy, title tags, meta descriptions, and Surfer SEO optimization.
Your job is to make sure the content, headings, SEO structure, Surfer SEO score, and page copy are correct before the page goes live.
Main responsibilities:
- Review local service pages for SEO quality
- Improve H1, H2, and H3 structure
- Check title tags and meta descriptions
- Use Surfer SEO recommendations
- Reduce repetitive or bloated AI-style copy
- Make sure city and service keywords are used naturally
- Review CTA sections and form copy
- Prepare clear notes for the WordPress/Elementor page builder
- Final QA before publishing
Required experience:
- Surfer SEO
- Local SEO
- Service business websites
- WordPress content editing
- H1/H2/H3 structure
- Title tags and meta descriptions
- Strong written English
Helpful experience:
- Pest control, concrete, home services, construction, or contractor websites
- Elementor
- Google Search Console
- SEO page briefs
Pay:
$6/hour
Schedule:
10–20 hours per week
