Head of Fashion Design (Remote)
Lead the Creative Vision for an Established US Fashion Brand

JOYFOLIE is seeking an exceptional Head of Fashion Design to lead our growing design team and help shape the future of our brand.

This is a leadership role for a highly creative and strategic design professional who is passionate about building beautiful products, mentoring designers, and transforming ideas into commercially successful collections.

You will oversee the creative direction of seasonal collections, guide and develop a talented design team, and partner closely with Technical Design and Production to bring products to life while maintaining the highest standards of design excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead the overall creative direction of seasonal collections
• Mentor, develop, and inspire the design team
• Establish clear design processes, timelines, and workflows
• Guide product development from concept through production
• Review designs and provide constructive creative direction
• Ensure collections align with brand identity, customer needs, and business goals
• Collaborate closely with Technical Design and Production teams
• Drive innovation while balancing creativity, quality, and profitability
• Identify opportunities to improve team performance and operational efficiency
• Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of fashion design experience
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative vision and design leadership
• Deep understanding of apparel development and production processes
• Strong fashion aesthetics and trend awareness
• Exceptional communication and project management skills
• Experience managing multiple collections and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to balance creative vision with commercial objectives
• Experience working remotely with international teams

• Vendor and factory management experience
• Experience scaling and developing creative teams
