JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support core business operations, with a primary focus on roofing takeoffs and estimating support.
This is not a basic admin role—we are looking for a proactive, high-level operator who can accurately interpret plans, perform material takeoffs, and support the estimating process, while also contributing to broader operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in roofing takeoffs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes ownership of their work with an operator mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Roofing Takeoffs & Estimating (Primary Focus)
* Perform accurate roofing takeoffs from plans, blueprints, and aerial measurement tools
* Calculate materials, labor estimates, and project scope details
* Work with platforms such as EagleView, Roofr, Hover, or similar tools
* Assist in preparing and organizing estimates and proposals
* Identify discrepancies or missing information in plans and flag proactively

2.Operations & Project Support
* Support project coordination and workflow tracking
* Maintain and update job files, documentation, and CRM systems
* Assist in creating and refining SOPs for estimating and operations
* Ensure all project-related data is organized and accessible

3. Administrative & Communication Support
* Manage emails, follow-ups, and internal communication
* Coordinate with tea ---------- mbers, vendors, and subcontractors as needed
* Track tasks and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Required Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience with roofing takeoffs (REQUIRED)
* Strong understanding of roofing and painting systems, materials, and terminology
* Experience with takeoff and measurement tools (EagleView, Roofr, Hover, etc.)
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
* Proactive, self-starter with an owner/operator mindset

Preferred (Not Required):
* Experience supporting a roofing and painting company or contractor
* Familiarity with CRMs (JobNimbus, AccuLynx, or similar)
* Experience with estimating software (Xactimate or similar)
* Background in construction, estimating, or project management
* Experience building or maintaining SOPs
