JOB OVERVIEW

About The Mop & Broom

We're The Mop & Broom, one of the fastest-growing premium home cleaning services in Fort Worth, TX. We run a high-standards, remote operation and we do everything at the highest level. We're growing fast — and to keep growing, we need someone who genuinely owns their pipeline and drives revenue like it's personal.

Before you read further: this role is for someone who has been closing deals consistently for years, not new to sales.
2+ years at minimum. We are looking for the best of the best and we will compensate to match.
Someone who tracks their own numbers without being asked, and doesn't need hand-holding to figure out what to do next. If that's you, what's below will get your attention.

Application instructions are at the bottom — follow them exactly.

Compensation

This is one of the best-compensated remote sales roles available for the right person.

Base salary — tied to your monthly results. These will be tied to your core KPI:
- Required performance: $1,400/month
- Target performance: $1,600/month
- Great performance: $1,800/month
- Elite performance: $2,000/month

Performance incentives — no cap (6-10k+ annually):
- $20 per biweekly-equivalent recurring client booked
- $10 per one-time booking
- Expected incentive earnings: $6,000–$10,000+ annually

Additional:
- Potential weekend check ins required
- 40 hours PTO per year
- Long-term growth — we do performance reviews every 6 months, we promote from within and raise compensation for elite performers

Who You Are (what we're looking for)

You've been closing deals consistently for 3+ years and your conversion rate reflects it — you track it because you want to, not because someone makes you. You pick up the phone without hesitation and handle price objections without caving. Your pipeline is never a mess because you're in it every day. When you get feedback, you apply it — you don't need to hear the same thing twice. You see problems before they're brought to you and you show up with solutions. You hold yourself to a standard most people would find uncomfortable.

You're comfortable being measured. You've worked in a CRM and kept it clean. You write well and communicate clearly. You want to work somewhere that actually rewards performance — not just shows up for it.

Availability: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM CST + Saturday afternoon check-in (paid).
CRM experience required. GoHighLevel (GHL) experience is a strong plus.

What You'll Do

- Own the full pipeline from inbound lead to booked, recurring client
- Respond to all leads (phone, SMS, email, website, Google, Facebook, Yelp) in under 5 minutes
- Convert leads into booked clients at 40%+ and push for recurring service (target: 35%+ recurring rate)
- Manage the GHL CRM daily — follow up, nurture, and close without lag
- Handle objections confidently and close without discounting
- Execute promotions, re-engagement campaigns, and upsell opportunities
- Report KPIs every Tuesday without reminders, and collaborate with ops on client onboarding
- Saturday afternoon check-in (4 hrs, paid) for bookings and operational messages

How to Apply

Follow these instructions exactly. Applications that don't follow will not be considered — this is your first test.

1. Change the subject line to: "I want to work for you, Cormac and [Co-Founder's Name]"
2. Write 2–3 sentences at the top about why you're a great fit — specific to this role, not generic.
3. Include a 200–500 word writing sample written by you (not AI-generated).
4. Answer all of the following:
a. How many years of sales experience do you have, and what were you selling?
b. What CRM(s) have you used? Describe your day-to-day pipeline management.
c. What was your average conversion rate in your most recent role? Share actual numbers.
d. Tell me about a time you closed a difficult deal — what made it hard and how did you close it?
e. What makes you different from other applicants? Be specific.
f. Voice note (60–90 seconds): A prospect says, "You're more expensive than another company — I need to think about it." Respond as if you're on the live call.
g. Attach your resume.

This is a high-performance role. If you want to own something real and grow with a company that pays for results — we want to hear from you.
