JOB OVERVIEW

UPDATE 06/15/2026 9:53PM EST: We are still fielding applicants. We encourage you to still apply IF you meet our requirements. We are looking only for people who meet our criteria.

Company: We are TheVault, a seven-figure e-commerce group operating multiple Amazon storefronts that source in coordination, plus active Walmart Marketplace storefronts that accumulate to six-figure in revenue.

Type: Remote (work from home).
Compensation: Competitive base and quarterly performance bonuses.
Schedule: Flexible and Philippine hours welcome. Five days a week, must work weekends.
Preferred overlap: 6AM to 2PM (your local PH time) so your leads are ready for our EST morning review.

About the Role
We are hiring one sharp, profitable Online Arbitrage (OA) product researcher to join a process-driven team of serious sellers. You will source profitable leads daily across Amazon (and occasionally Walmart), vet them against our buying criteria, and deliver clean, decision-ready data to the team. This is not a "spray and pray" lead farm. We value accuracy, margin discipline, and judgment over raw volume. You will be among other Virtual Assistants working within a professional workspace, with real SOPs, real tools, real coaching, and a real growth path.

Detail check (most applicants miss this): when you email us, make the very first line of your message the single word VELOCITY — on its own line.

What You'll Do
— Source profitable OA/RA leads daily using SAS and Keepa.
— Vet every lead for ROI, sell-through velocity, Buy Box behavior, IP/gating risk, and competition.
— Deliver all found, organized leads in our ---------- / Database Website with sourcing links and your analysis on each profitable lead found.
— Flag potential risks (price-tanking, Amazon on listing, OOS patterns, hazmat, gating) before we buy.
— Maintain a profitable, accountable track record (we measure outcomes).

Required Qualifications
— 3+ years proven OA/RA product research experience with a profitable track record (work experience mandatory).
— Reliable internet; able to do video and voice calls.
— Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
— Fluent English with great written communication.

Required tools:
— SAS (Seller Amp), Keepa
Familiarity with:
— SmartScout, Tactical Arbitrage, RevSeller, Helium 10

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications:
— Amazon VA training certification(s)
— Experience with InventoryLab and Sellerboard (or comparable P&L tools)
— Exposure to Walmart Marketplace policies and the ability to transfer Amazon best practices to Walmart (we welcome Walmart leads as we sell there too)

Employee Benefits:
— Quarterly performance bonuses for meeting team goals
— Competitive pay compared to other employers
— Philippine national holidays honored
— Supportive, process-driven team with tools, SOPs, and coaching to help you win
— Growth path inside a fast-moving, seven-figure operation

HOW TO APPLY, READ EVERY WORD:
The single most important trait of a great researcher is attention to detail. So our application is the first test. Applications that skip or miss any instruction below will not be reviewed— no exceptions. This is deliberate. If you can't follow our application instructions, you can't follow our sourcing SOPs.

There are three stages:

STAGE 1 is Application Email (Screening)
Send an email with your resume attached and complete all of the following exactly:
1. Subject line, use this exact format: OA RESEARCHER – [YOUR FULL NAME] – [YOUR FAVORITE FOOD]
2. First line of your email body must be the code word we hid earlier in this listing, on its own line at the very top. We won't tell you where it is— careful readers will have already found it.
3. A brief introduction. Sell yourself. Tell us about your real, profitable OA/RA experience and what you've personally sourced.
4. Reference one specific line from this listing that resonated with you, and explain why in one or two sentences.

5. Answer the sourcing math problem below. Show your work on a piece of paper and attach it to your application. Do not just give the final number:
A product sells for $29.99 on Amazon. Your unit cost is $14.50. Amazon's referral fee is 15% of the sale price, and the FBA fulfillment fee is $5.45 per unit.
(a) What is your net profit per unit?
(b) What is your ROI %?
(c) Would you source this product? At what minimum ROI and/or minimum profit do you personally pull the trigger, and why?

6. Confirm your availability for the preferred 6AM to 2PM PH overlap, or propose your hours.
— To prove you read this far: end your email with the exact phrase "Leads ready by morning." Applications missing this phrase are auto-declined.

STAGE 2 is Keepa & OA Knowledge Test (No Interview Yet)
If your application is clean, we'll send you a short written test (answered in your own words, no copy-paste from Google or AI). that looks like this:
— On a Keepa chart, what does a drop (downward spike) in the Sales Rank line indicate? How would you use the "Sales Rank Drops – Last 30 / 90 days" figures to estimate monthly sales velocity?
— How do you use Keepa to determine how often Amazon itself is on a listing, and why does that change your buying decision?
— A listing shows a current Buy Box of $24.99, but Keepa shows the Buy Box bouncing between $18–$25 over 90 days. What does that pattern tell you, and would you still buy? Defend your answer.
— Walk us through every check you run on a lead before you submit it to us (in order).

We grade on accuracy and reasoning, not length. Fakers get filtered here.

STAGE 3 is the Zoom Interview
Only candidates who pass Stages 1 and 2 are invited to a Zoom interview with the team. Reliable video/voice required.

Timeline: We review applications within 1–3 business days. We move fast on strong candidates and we don't waste good people's time. If you've read this whole listing, followed every instruction, and you genuinely know your numbers: we want to hear from you.
