JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a US-based marketing agency building the complete digital presence for a new professional services client: a CFO-level accounting firm in the greater Atlanta, Georgia market. We need one skilled, self-directed hire who can build the WordPress site and own the full local search presence from launch through ongoing optimization. This is a long-term role with real ownership and room to grow.
PHASE 1: WEBSITE BUILD (Weeks 1)
Build a clean, fast, conversion-ready WordPress (or your recommendation) site (5 to 7 pages) on the provided hosting
Install and configure Rank Math Pro or Yoast SEO (v19+)
Pass Core Web Vitals on mobile and desktop
Integrate lead capture forms on every service page
Connect Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console from day one
Implement IndexNow protocol for immediate Bing indexing (this feeds ChatGPT live search)
Configure robots.txt to allow AI crawlers including ChatGPT-User
SCHEMA AND STRUCTURED DATA (this is a hard requirement, not optional)
LocalBusiness JSON-LD on homepage and contact page: name, address, phone, hours, geo coordinates, URL, image, priceRange, areaServed — must match GBP exactly
FAQPage schema on every service page
Person schema for the business principal
Organization schema with sameAs properties linked to all verified profiles
Service schema on each individual service page
PHASE 2: GBP, NAP, AND CITATIONS
Full Google Business Profile setup and optimization: all fields complete, services reviewed and corrected, photos uploaded and labeled, GBP posts on a regular cadence, Q and A section seeded with structured answers
Submit to all tier-one directories: Google, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Yelp,
Submit to accounting and professional services industry directories
Submit to local Cherokee County and greater Atlanta directories
Target 40 to 60 verified citations in the first 90 days
Audit NAP consistency across all platforms quarterly and correct any drift
PHASE 3: AEO AND GEO OPTIMIZATION (ongoing)
Place a 40 to 60 word direct answer block at the top of every service page section
Build and maintain prompt-aligned FAQ sections on all service pages
Maintain a 7 to 14 day content freshness cycle with genuine page updates
Define 15 to 25 target prompts for the local market and track AI citation performance monthly
Track three GEO KPIs each month: mention rate, citation rate, and answer position across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews
