JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description
Earthwise Grooming is a dog grooming business based in Austin, Texas, and we’re hiring a remote content creator and editor to help us grow our brand online.

We provide photos and videos of our grooming services, happy dogs, and before/after results. Your job is to edit these assets and add creative touches to create engaging ads and social posts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

We want someone who loves dogs, understands visual storytelling, and can turn raw photos and videos into polished, eye-catching content that connects with dog owners.

Responsibilities
Edit photos and videos we provide (grooming sessions, before/after shots, happy dogs, etc.) into engaging social posts and ads.

Add creative touches: text overlays, captions, animations, color grading, transitions, music, and branding elements.

Create short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Shorts, and YouTube Shorts.

Design ad creatives for Facebook/Instagram ads using Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.

Write clear, friendly captions and copy that match Earthwise Grooming’s natural, trustworthy brand voice.

Help brainstorm content ideas around dog grooming tips, breed-specific care, grooming routines, and pet lifestyle.

Make revisions based on feedback quickly.

Meet deadlines and stay consistent with content output.

Requirements
Strong experience as a video editor, photo editor, or content creator for social media and ads.

Proficient in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar).

Proficient in photo editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar).

Strong English writing skills with a natural, conversational tone.

Love for dogs and understanding of pet care, grooming, or animal lifestyle brands (or willingness to learn quickly).

Reliable internet connection and professional work habits.

Portfolio or samples of edited videos, social posts, or ad creatives (pet-related content is a plus).

Nice to Have
Experience editing content for pet care, dog grooming, veterinary, pet retail, or local service businesses.

Knowledge of social media trends and ad best practices for performance ads.

Ability to create short-form video content that feels fun, warm, and engaging.

Understanding of captioning, text overlays, and hook-driven editing for ads.

Work Setup
Fully remote (work from home).

Part-time or full-time, depending on fit.
