JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a reliable full-time video editor to join my team long term.

This role is a good fit for someone who can do basic, clean video editing for YouTube, product review and comparison style videos, and short-form content. You do not need to be a Hollywood-level editor, but you should be comfortable making videos look professional, engaging, and easy to watch.

I'm a content creator with two Youtube channels, a product review business on Amazon, and clients that want me as a creator to make video content for their brand.

Being able to create and deliver basic edits quickly is important, as I have a back-log of video content that needs edited and most videos are less than 5 minutes total.

At this time, motion graphics skills are not required but will be considered as a plus.

**Position Details:**

* Full-time role
* 40 hours per week

**What You’ll Be Editing:**

* YouTube videos
* YouTube Shorts / TikTok / Reels
* Product review videos for Amazon Storefront
* Talking-head videos
* Simple cleaning up, combining clips, creating engaging content
* Basic cuts, transitions, captions, music, zooms, and clean pacing
*Knowledge of social media hooks & what makes a strong intro

**Software Requirements:**

You should be comfortable using at least ONE of the following:

* CapCut
* Adobe Premiere Pro
* Final Cut Pro
* DaVinci Resolve
* Or similar video editing software

**Responsibilities:**

* Edit raw video clips into clean finished videos
* Add captions/subtitles when needed
* Add basic music, sound effects, transitions, and zoom-ins
* Remove mistakes, pauses, and awkward gaps
* Follow examples and editing instructions
* Export videos in the correct format
* Communicate clearly and meet deadlines

**Experience Required:**
