Apparel Designer (Part time with desire to convert to full time)
Role Overview
We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented Apparel Design Specialist to help bring collections to life from concept to customer. This role will transform preliminary design concepts into production-ready assets, establish scalable design systems and support new product launches
Core Design Responsibilities
* Convert collection concepts into production-ready print and embroidery files for apparel and accessories
* Develop and maintain design templates, production standards, and repeatable workflows to improve efficiency and scale collection development.
* Prepare and optimize artwork and photography for print-on-demand and manufacturing partners, ensuring quality, resolution, sizing, placement, and print readiness standards.
* Create product mockups, launch imagery, and supporting visual assets for e-commerce and marketing channels.
* Refine illustrations, typography, layouts, and color treatments while maintaining brand consistency across all collections.
Content & Digital Asset Management
* Establish and maintain an organized digital asset management system for design files, production assets, mockups, photography, and marketing materials.
* Develop and enforce file naming conventions, version control, collection structures, and asset organization standards.
* Maintain collection archives and ensure all production-ready assets are accessible, documented, and properly stored.

Preferred Experience
* 7+ years experience
* Apparel, lifestyle, outdoor, or consumer brand experience.
* Experience preparing production-ready artwork for apparel printing and embroidery.
* Familiarity with Printful, Printify, or other print-on-demand platforms.
* Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Figma.
* Experience building scalable creative systems, templates, and digital asset libraries.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple collections, assets, and deadlines simultaneously.
