Job description: Overseas Product & Pricing Analyst (eCommerce & FMCG)
Location: Philippines (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time - Contractor
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical person to join our team, focused on product pricing research and competitor analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting trends, and turning numbers into clear insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research competitor pricing across major retailers (primarily via Google Shopping)
- Compare pricing across our product catalogue (FMCG: pet food, baby formula, household goods, etc.)
- Build and maintain structured Excel spreadsheets
- Use formulas, filters, pivot tables, and charts to analyse data
- Monitor pricing trends over time and highlight key changes
- Turn data into clear, actionable pricing recommendations
- Work with our internal systems to organise and track data
- Create clean, well-structured Excel files
- Present clear summaries of findings
- Identify trends and pricing opportunities
- Provide practical recommendations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot tables, data organisation, charts and visualisations)
- Experience with data analysis or pricing research
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and think critically
- Comfortable doing repetitive research tasks accurately
- Good written English
- Experience in eCommerce or FMCG pricing
- Experience analysing competitor pricing
- Ability to suggest automation or process improvements
Role Details:
- Full-time (5–8 hours per day)
- UK working hours (flexible within reason)
- Hourly rate to be discussed (depending on experience)
