We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Amazon Marketplace Commercial Manager to lead the strategy, growth, and operational excellence of a large-scale Amazon Brand. This is a hands-on Amazon marketplace role for someone who has directly managed live Seller Central accounts and understands the operational and commercial realities of marketplace eCommerce.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing listings, account health, suppressions, pricing, promotions, inventory, Buy Box performance, and overall marketplace growth. You will own the Amazon channel end-to-end, including growth strategy, competitive intelligence, catalog optimization, pricing strategy, advertising coordination, inventory planning, and operational oversight across both FBA and FBM operations.

This role is ideal for a strong Amazon operator who combines deep marketplace expertise, analytical thinking, and operational leadership to drive sustainable growth while protecting brand equity and marketplace performance.

They are equally comfortable analysing competitive dynamics, optimizing listings, managing advertising performance, and ensuring flawless operational execution in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Amazon Business Ownership

- Own the overall Amazon P&L and marketplace growth strategy for one or more major UK Brands
- Develop long-term plans to scale revenue while maintaining profitability
- Identify opportunities to expand market share across product categories
- Partner with leadership on marketplace and channel expansion strategies

Catalog Optimization & Conversion Strategy

- Monitor indexing and listing health
- Improve conversion rates and organic rankings
- Oversee optimization of Amazon listings including: Titles, Bullet points, A+ Content, Images and video
- Storefront experience
- Monitor indexing and listing health
- Improve conversion rates and organic rankings

Pricing, Promotions & Advertising

- Develop pricing strategies that maintain competitiveness while protecting margins
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and seasonal pushes
- Coordinate with marketing teams on Amazon advertising strategies including: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP campaigns
- Analyze advertising performance, ROAS, and traffic growth opportunities

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

- Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain healthy inventory levels
- Prevent stockouts and ranking losses due to inventory gaps
- Manage inbound shipments, replenishment strategies, and stranded inventory

Marketplace Health & Brand Protection

- Monitor account health and Amazon policy compliance
- Resolve listing hijackers, unauthorized sellers, and MAP violations
- Work with Amazon support and Brand Registry teams to resolve enforcement issues
- Protect overall brand integrity within the marketplace

Team Leadership & Reporting

- Build and manage teams supporting Amazon growth, including: Marketplace managers, Catalog specialists, Operations coordinators, Advertising support staff
- Establish KPIs, reporting systems, and scalable operational processes
- Prepare actionable sales and performance reports for leadership

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

·- 3+ years managing Amazon marketplace businesses
- Proven experience managing Amazon brands generating $10M+ in annual revenue
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central
- Experience handling listings, suppressions, and account health issues
- Strong understanding of: Amazon SEO, Catalog management, Advertising strategy, Competitive intelligence, and Seller Central operations
- Experience scaling high-growth consumer brands on Amazon
- Strong operational attention to detail

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Advanced marketplace analytics and data interpretation
- Strong understanding of pricing, promotions, and Buy Box performance
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to manage complex marketplace ecosystems independently
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for reporting and analysis
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strategic thinker with strong operational execution capabilities
