JOB OVERVIEW

World Famous Puppies is one of the most recognized puppy brands in the United States, serving customers nationwide and internationally. We have been in business for over 7 years and have built a social media audience of more than 800,000 followers.

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Web Developer & Website Manager to help maintain, optimize, and manage our existing Shopify website.

IMPORTANT:

We already have a Shopify website built.

We are NOT looking for someone to build a website from scratch.

We are looking for someone who can maintain, improve, troubleshoot, and optimize our existing Shopify store while ensuring customers can easily browse available puppies, reserve puppies, purchase products, and complete transactions smoothly.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for managing and maintaining a full Shopify puppy and pet products store.

The website will feature:

Available puppies
Puppy reservations
Dog supplements
Pet vitamins
Pet accessories
Future pet-related products

The ideal candidate should understand Shopify development, website management, e-commerce conversion optimization, customer experience, and day-to-day website operations.

This is a hands-on position that requires daily website management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and manage our existing Shopify website
Upload and remove puppy listings daily as inventory changes
Upload and organize puppy photos and videos
Create and maintain puppy product pages
Upload and manage pet supplements and vitamin products
Upload and manage pet accessories and future product lines
Ensure all products are displayed correctly
Create and maintain collections and categories
Troubleshoot website issues and errors
Ensure website functionality across desktop and mobile devices
Improve customer experience and navigation
Create and optimize checkout pages
Ensure reservation and purchase processes work properly
Install and manage Shopify apps and integrations
Improve website speed and performance
Monitor and test website functionality regularly
Assist with marketing-related website improvements
Help optimize landing pages and conversion rates
Ensure the website is fully operational and running efficiently at all times
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years Shopify experience
Shopify Liquid experience preferred
HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript knowledge preferred
Experience managing Shopify stores with multiple products
Experience creating and optimizing checkout flows
Strong understanding of e-commerce customer experience
Ability to upload and manage large amounts of content
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Reliable and organized
Ability to manage a fast-changing inventory environment
