JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We are looking for a sharp and detail-driven Media Analyst & Content Researcher to join our editorial team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our content intelligence operations — evaluating article performance, tracking media coverage, and delivering insights that help our team make smarter editorial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Article Performance Review — Evaluate published articles for market value, audience reach, and engagement metrics; assess how content drives value for reporters and the broader editorial team

2. Real-Time Web Research — Simultaneously review articles and conduct live web searches to identify similar or competing content, industry trends, and market positioning opportunities

3. Media Clipping & Database Matching — Source and analyze article clippings, cross-referencing findings against our internal media outlet database for accurate tracking and attribution

4. Editorial Reporting — Own and deliver structured 48-hour and 30-day performance reports, providing actionable insights on content reach, trend shifts, and audience engagement

5. Editorial Support — Assist with additional editorial tasks as needed, including content audits, media monitoring, and cross-team reporting initiatives
