Purpose of the Role
To review our field engineers' job sheets following service and maintenance visits, identify what equipment has failed or needs remedial work, and produce accurate repair quotations — covering replacement parts, labour and sundries — across all the fire and security disciplines we cover. You will then create the opportunity and quotation in Salesforce and issue it directly to the customer.

Key Responsibilities
Review engineers' job sheets to understand what equipment has failed or requires remedial work.
Determine the correct repair or replacement solution, in line with the relevant British Standards.
Price the works accurately — parts, labour and sundries.
Create the opportunity and the quotation in Salesforce.
Issue the quotation directly to the customer.
Liaise with the engineering / technical team where a job sheet needs clarification.

Disciplines Covered
You will be quoting across all of our main fire and security systems, including:
Fire extinguishers
Fire alarms
Emergency lighting
Intruder alarms
CCTV
Access control

Requirements
A solid technical understanding of fire and security systems.
Working knowledge of the relevant British Standards (e.g. BS 5839, BS 5266, BS 5306, BS EN 50131).
Proven experience in a similar estimating, quoting or minor works role.
A strong, practical, hands-on technical understanding of the systems being quoted.
High attention to detail and excellent written English.
Comfortable working in a CRM / quoting system (Salesforce experience an advantage).

Desirable
Prior experience working with a UK fire and security contractor.
Familiarity with Salesforce.
