JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Virtual Assistant with a strong background in Home Health operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience using WellSky (Kinnser) software and be comfortable supporting both our Home Health and Medical Transportation departments in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

- Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience working for a Home Health Agency
Proficient in WellSky (Kinnser) software
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
Ability to multitask and work independently
Experience handling patient records, physician orders, and home health documentation
Comfortable answering inbound calls and handling urgent requests

- Responsibilities
Manage and update patient records in WellSky/Kinnser
Upload, track, and follow up on physician orders (POs)
Assist with OASIS and home health documentation workflows
Coordinate with clinicians, nurses, and office staff
Maintain accurate patient files and compliance records
Answer inbound calls, emails, and administrative inquiries
Take intake calls for our Medical Transportation Department and accurately enter trip information into our dispatching software
Monitor company email inboxes and respond to emails within 5 minutes or less during scheduled work hours
Escalate urgent patient, facility, or transportation concerns immediately
Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned

- Performance Expectations

Email response time: 5 minutes or less during active work hours
High accuracy when entering patient and transportation data
Professional communication with patients, families, hospitals, nursing facilities, and healthcare providers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
