Architect / Structural Engineer (Hybrid Role) – STEEL ONE Steel Block Construction System
We are seeking a highly skilled Architect + Structural Engineer (or hybrid professional) for an ongoing, high-volume design role within an innovative construction system called STEEL ONE.
This is a long-term opportunity to design fully custom buildings of any size or shape using a steel block construction system.
What is a Steel Block?
A steel block is an engineered structural steel unit designed to be assembled on-site into complete building structures.
Unlike prefabricated buildings, STEEL ONE structures are:
Fully custom-designed for each client
Built directly on-site using steel block components
Configured into unique architectural forms and layouts
Structurally integrated as a complete load-bearing system
Each block functions as a building element within a larger engineered steel structure, allowing unlimited architectural flexibility while maintaining structural integrity.
Role Overview
You will act as both Architect and Structural Engineer, responsible for designing complete building systems using STEEL ONE steel blocks.
Each month, you will produce multiple custom building designs based on client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Design fully custom residential and commercial buildings
Develop architectural layouts using STEEL ONE steel block systems
Create structural engineering solutions for each project
Translate client requirements into buildable designs
Produce CAD drawings (AutoCAD / Revit / Tekla or equivalent)
Ensure structural stability, load distribution, and code compliance
Develop efficient and practical steel block configurations
Deliverables
Architectural floor plans, elevations, and sections
Structural layout and engineering design
Steel block configuration drawings
Construction-ready CAD files
Technical design documentation packages
Ideal Candidate
Architect + Structural Engineer (or strong hybrid expertise)
Experience in steel structures or advanced construction systems
Strong knowledge of building codes and structural behavior
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.)
Experience with residential and commercial building design
Ability to design complex, non-standard structural systems
Engagement
Ongoing monthly workload (multiple projects per month)
Remote collaboration
Long-term opportunity
Vision
STEEL ONE introduces a new construction method where buildings are custom-designed and assembled on-site using engineered steel blocks, enabling speed, strength, and unlimited architectural freedom without prefabricated limitations.
We are seeking a top-level design professional to help develop and scale this system into real-world construction applications.
