We are looking for a highly skilled full-time video editor to join our team, a fashion textile brand.
We are looking for someone with advanced editing skills, strong taste, and a good eye for fashion, fabric movement, clothing, texture, color, and mood.
A big part of this role will be creating videos for social media and video ads, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Meta ads, Google ads, YouTube Shorts, YouTube ads, and eventually longer YouTube or brand storytelling videos.
We need someone who can create videos that look beautiful but are also strategic. The goal is to make people stop scrolling, understand the fabric, feel inspired, and want to click, shop, save, or learn more.
What We’re Looking For
You should understand how hooks work in short-form content and ads, especially the first few seconds of a video. You should be able to create strong openings, clean pacing, tasteful transitions, good text overlays, and videos that communicate the product clearly.
You will edit different types of content, such as:
* Social media videos
* Video ads
* Product and fabric movement videos
* UGC-style videos
* Founder/voiceover videos
* Educational fabric videos
* AI-assisted creative videos
For our brand, every fabric has a different feeling. A silk chiffon video should not feel the same as a rhinestone lace video. Linen may need something clean and effortless, while beaded lace may need something more dramatic and luxurious.
We want someone who can understand these differences and edit in a way that matches the product, the customer, and the goal of the video.
Skills Needed
The ideal candidate should be strong in:
* Advanced video editing
* Short-form video editing
* Social media ad creatives
* Fashion, beauty, product, or lifestyle editing
* Hook-based editing
* Captions and text overlays
* Music selection and sound design
* Color correction
* Clean pacing and visual rhythm
* Creating multiple versions from the same footage
* Editing in different ratios: 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9
We do not want generic template-style editing. We are looking for someone who has taste, understands visuals, and can make fabric/product videos feel elevated and engaging.
**AI Tools & Creative Technology**
Experience with AI tools (intermediate is ok and to be willing to learn). You do not need to know every tool, but you should be curious and open to using AI to improve the creative process.
Useful tools include Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva, Runway, Kling AI, Pika, Midjourney, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, Descript, Topaz Video AI, and OpusClip.
