We are looking for a senior Amazon listing operator who knows how to launch, rank, and scale products on Amazon — not just write copy. You live inside DataDive, Helium 10, and Brand Analytics, and you can read a niche the way most people read a book.
You will own the full lifecycle of our Amazon listings: from keyword research and competitive analysis on day one, through launch, ranking, and ongoing optimization. You will be responsible for the data-driven decisions that move our products up the page.
You are the person who answers every week:
• “Which keywords are we winning, losing, or missing?”
• “Why did this listing drop in rank?”
• “What is the next listing we should optimize, and why?”
• “Where is the next growth opportunity in this category?”
What You Will Own
Keyword Research & Competitive Analysis
• Run deep keyword research in DataDive (Cerebro-style reverse ASIN, competitor gap analysis, keyword opportunity scoring)
• Build keyword master lists segmented by priority, search volume, relevance, and competition
• Identify untapped long-tail and high-intent keywords competitors are missing
• Analyze competitor listings, reviews, pricing, and ranking patterns
• Map the competitive landscape for every product line
New Listing Launch
• Build SEO-optimized titles, bullets, descriptions, and backend search terms
• Write A+ Content briefs and Brand Story modules
• Coordinate image and infographic briefs with the design team
• Develop launch strategy: pricing, coupons, vine, PPC seeding, and ranking plan
• Set up parent/child variations correctly the first time
• Track launch performance against ranking and revenue targets
Ongoing Listing Optimization
• Audit existing listings for keyword gaps, indexing issues, and conversion leaks
• Run structured A/B tests on titles, main images, and copy using Manage Your Experiments
• Monitor keyword rank movements and respond to ranking drops fast
• Refresh listings based on seasonality, trends, and new competitor moves
• Improve conversion rate, session-to-purchase ratio, and click-through rate
Brand Analytics & Seller Central Intelligence
• Pull and interpret Search Query Performance, Top Search Terms, and Market Basket reports
• Identify share-of-voice gaps vs. top competitors in each category
• Track conversion share, click share, and purchase share by keyword
• Use Seller Central data to validate or challenge DataDive findings
• Flag listing health issues: suppressions, Buy Box loss, policy warnings, stranded inventory
Reporting & Dashboards
You will build and maintain:
• Weekly keyword rank tracker (organic and sponsored)
• Listing health scorecard by ASIN
• Competitor watchlist with movement alerts
• Launch performance reports vs. plan
• Optimization backlog with projected impact and priority
Who You Are
You are not a generalist Amazon VA. You are:
• A senior Amazon operator who has launched and scaled real products — not just edited listings
• A true DataDive power user (this is non-negotiable)
• Deeply analytical — you make decisions from data, not from gut feel
• Obsessive about keyword indexing, ranking, and conversion
• Comfortable reading Search Query Performance reports and explaining what they mean
• Up to date on Amazon algorithm changes, policy updates, and category trends
• A strong written communicator who can brief designers, copywriters, and leadership clearly
• Self-directed — you bring opportunities to the table, you don’t wait to be told
Required Experience
• 5+ years managing Amazon listings at a senior or lead level
• Proven track record of launching products and ranking them on page 1 for competitive keywords
• Expert-level proficiency in DataDive (required — we will test this)
• Strong working knowledge of Helium 10 (Cerebro, Magnet, Frankenstein, Index Checker)
• Hands-on experience with Brand Analytics and Seller Central reporting
• Experience writing high-converting Amazon copy and A+ Content briefs
• Experience running Manage Your Experiments (A/B tests) on titles and images
• Strong spreadsheet skills (pivots, lookups, basic modeling)
• Familiarity with Amazon Ads / PPC concepts (you don’t need to run campaigns, but you need to understand them)
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
• Full keyword and competitor audit completed for every active ASIN
• Prioritized optimization backlog built and in motion
• At least one major listing relaunch with measurable rank and conversion lift
• Weekly reporting cadence established with leadership
• Clear launch playbook documented for future product releases
