JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled DaVinci Resolve video editor who specializes in fast-paced, social-media-first content creation. You'll be editing a variety of video styles for different platforms and audiences, from short-form social content to longer-form commercial pieces.

What You'll Create:
Social media videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Event coverage and highlights
Interview/talking head content
Commercial and product videos
Funny skits and marketing content
Luxury showcase and lifestyle videos
Travel content
Cinematic/branded pieces

Required Skills:
Advanced level in DaVinci Resolve (color grading, editing, effects)
Strong text/animation design – You understand social media typography trends, animated text overlays, pop-ups, and motion graphics
Social media understanding – You know what works on different platforms (pacing, aspect ratios, hooks, retention)
Fast turnaround capability – Can deliver quality work on tight timelines
Attention to detail – Proper audio levels, color consistency, smooth transitions
Communication – Clear about timelines, asks clarifying questions, provides regular updates

Nice to Have:
Experience with After Effects for advanced animations
Photo editing experience
Portfolio showing social media content as well as more luxury video pieces
Understanding of viral/trending video formats

What We're Looking For:
Someone who isn't just technically proficient but understands why certain edits, pacing, and text treatments work for social media. You should be able to suggest creative ideas, not just execute briefs.
