We are a growing Australian marketing agency specialising in hospitality, trades, and home improvement businesses.

We're looking for an experienced WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist to become a long-term part of our team.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with a proven track record, strong portfolio, and demonstrated SEO results who can help us build high-performing websites and grow organic traffic for our clients.

*** What You'll Be Doing

*** Ongoing SEO (Retainer Work)

You'll be responsible for improving the performance of client websites through:
- Technical SEO audits
- Page speed and Core Web Vitals optimisation
- On-page SEO improvements
- Keyword research
- Internal linking
- Meta title and description optimisation
- Google Search Console monitoring
- SEO reporting
- Creating and publishing SEO-focused service pages

Our goal is simple: increase rankings, organic traffic, and enquiries.

*** WordPress Website Development (Project Work)

We primarily build websites using WordPress, Elementor, and Astra.

We'll typically provide the branding, copywriting, images, videos, and overall website strategy. Your role will be to:
- Build and customise websites using Elementor or Astra
- Create modern, responsive layouts
- Optimise site speed and performance
- Implement SEO best practices
- Launch polished, professional websites

*** Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong WordPress experience
- Advanced Elementor experience
- Experience with Astra Theme
- Technical and on-page SEO knowledge
- Website speed optimisation experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently

Bonus Skills
- Local SEO experience
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics
- Ahrefs or SEMrush
- WP Rocket
- Basic CSS knowledge
