About Us:
We are a small, vibrant structural engineering firm based in the USA. We are building a talented, collaborative team based in the Philippines, and we invest heavily in custom workflow automation to help our drafters work smarter, not harder.

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior CAD Technician to serve as our CAD Department Head. You will establish our drafting standards and coordinate closely with our existing CAD technician and our all-Philippine team, reporting directly to the American owner. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to organize and run a department from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:
Establish and maintain company-wide Revit sheet templates, standard details, title blocks, and BIM protocols
Lead structural detailing for wood, steel, and concrete buildings
Serve as the primary point of contact for all CAD coordination between the Philippine team and US-based ownership
Review and QA drawings to ensure consistency with our developing standards
Mentor and coordinate with our current CAD technician as the department grows
Collaborate with our in-house software engineer to identify workflow bottlenecks and test Python-based automation scripts tailored to our projects

What You’ll Need:
5+ years of professional experience in Revit, preferably within structural engineering
Proven experience detailing wood, steel, and concrete structures
Demonstrated ability to set up sheet templates, view standards, and company detail libraries from scratch
Strong working knowledge of the Imperial measurement system (feet and inches) as used in US construction
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with comfort coordinating across time zones with an American owner.
Must be available for daily all-employee meetings during US work hours.
Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote-work environment

Nice to Have:
Prior team lead, senior drafter, or department head experience
Familiarity with Dynamo, Revit API, or Python-based BIM automation
Knowledge of US structural drawing standards and typical US construction practices
