JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:
We're a fast-growing Korean-American DTC brand looking for an experienced video editor who lives and breathes performance content. This is a direct response role — you'll be cutting ads and organic content built to hook, hold, and convert. We move fast, iterate constantly, and care deeply about detail.

This is a high-volume role: roughly 30–40 videos per week across paid and organic, short-form and long-form. You need to be fast without dropping quality.

What You'll Edit:
- Long-form founder story videos
- Short-form bumper videos
- Short-form organic mashups
- UGC videos with b-roll overlay

What We Need From You:
- Strong DTC ad portfolio — performance/direct response work, not just pretty edits.
- Hook-first thinking: you understand the first 3 seconds d ---------- everything.
- Sharp, intentional pacing: you know when to cut fast and when to let a ---------- nt breathe.
- Experience with virality and performance marketing.
- Razor-sharp attention to detail: captions must match the voice, names and brand spelled correctly, product centered in frame, and auto-captions spell-checked every time.
- Ability to take feedback and apply corrections quickly and accurately, without repeating mistakes.
- Proven ability to handle volume (30–40 videos per week) while staying organized.
- Ability to learn and match our brand voice.

Nice to Have:
- Experience in the beauty, hair, or accessories space.
- Familiarity with Notion-based briefs.
- Experience with AI (Higgsfield, Elevenlabs, etc)

How to Apply:
1. Send your portfolio (DTC/performance work prioritized).
2. In your first line, tell us your favorite hook you've ever cut and why it worked.
3. Answer this: what's the most common reason a short-form video loses viewers in the first 5 seconds?

We read every application that follows these steps. Applications that skip them won't be reviewed.
