JOB OVERVIEW

Remote Survey Programmer — Voxco / JavaScript Specialist (Market Research)
Employer: TKW Research Group (Australia / New Zealand)
Location: Remote — Philippines
Engagement: Independent contractor, full-time equivalent (approx. 40 hrs/week)

The Package — What You’ll Receive

TKW Research Group is a long-standing Australian/New Zealand market research firm, and we’re looking for a Survey Programmer to join us on a long-term contract basis. This is a real partnership, not a transactional gig — and a chance to contribute to something genuinely new in market research. The package reflects that:

• Front-row seat on a voicebot R&D project — you’ll contribute directly to a survey voicebot we’re developing with a tier-1 AI platform partner. Real conversational-AI exposure on your CV.

• Base retainer: ?90,000 – ?140,000 PHP per month, commensurate with experience and voicebot project involvement, paid in arrears.

• 13th-month service bonus equivalent to one month’s base fee, paid every December.
• HMO allowance of up to ?50,000 per year, fully reimbursing premium private health cover for you and one dependent.
• Internet & equipment stipend of ?3,000 per month to support your home office setup.
• 10 days of paid leave per annum after 12 months of service, plus observed Australian public holidays without reduction to your base fee.

• Full training paid by TKW Research Group — structured onboarding plus ongoing platform training (Voxco and related tools) so you can perform at the highest level.

• Direct relationship with senior project managers in Australia/New Zealand — no middle layers, no agency markup.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Survey Programmer who can take complex questionnaires and turn them into clean, well-tested, production-ready survey scripts. You’ll own the scripting pipeline end-to-end: build, test, launch, deliver data.

Direct experience with Voxco is ideal, but we’re equally open to strong programmers from Forsta/Confirmit, Decipher, or Qualtrics who can pick up Voxco quickly — and we’ll fund the training to get you there. What matters more is that you can write real JavaScript (not just drag-and-drop survey builder logic) and that you sweat the details on QA.

The Voicebot Project — What Makes This Different

Alongside your core scripting work, you’ll contribute to something most survey programmers never get to touch: TKW Research Group is partnering with a tier-1 multinational AI platform provider to develop a survey voicebot — conversational AI that conducts genuine, natural-sounding interviews at scale.

Your role on the project: building the underlying survey logic, question structures, routing, and validation rules that the voicebot will run. You’re not expected to be an ML engineer — you’re the survey expert who makes sure the conversational layer asks the right questions in the right order and captures clean data on the other side.

This is genuine R&D work with commercial backing. You’ll be one of a handful of survey programmers globally with hands-on conversational-AI experience on your CV.

What You’ll Do
• Translate questionnaires (Word, PDF, client-supplied) into interactive online and CATI scripts.
• Build complex logic: skip patterns, routing, piping, randomisation, quota management, custom validations.
• Write JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 to extend platform functionality where the out-of-the-box tools fall short.
• Test thoroughly — logic, edge cases, mobile rendering, accessibility — before anything goes live.
• Export and format data (SPSS, CSV, Excel) for the analysis team.

What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years programming surveys in a market research agency, fieldwork house, or specialised BPO.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 — you should be comfortable debugging in browser dev tools.
• Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise platform: Voxco, Forsta/Confirmit, Decipher, or Qualtrics.
• Bonus points for SPSS syntax, Python, SQL, or experience with conjoint/MaxDiff modules.
• Genuine interest in conversational AI — you don’t need ML experience, but you should be curious about how survey methodology and voice AI intersect.
• Reliable home office: high-spec PC, dual monitors preferred, stable internet plus a backup option.
• Strong written English — you’ll be communicating with project managers in Australia and New Zealand.

How to Apply

Send your CV plus a short note covering:
1. The platforms you’ve worked on.
2. The most complex script you’ve built.
3. Your earliest available start date.
4. A sentence or two on why the voicebot project interests you.
