Google Ads Expert Needed — 5+ Years Experience Required
We'll start you with a few accounts to test. You'll start at 20 hours/week and then we'll increase as we see your results.
We are looking for an experienced Google Ads expert to help manage, improve, and scale lead generation campaigns for service-based businesses.
This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who has been actively managing Google Ads campaigns for at least 5 years and has kept up with the latest Google Ads changes, including AI-driven campaign features, Performance Max, Demand Gen, AI Max for Search, conversion tracking, offline conversion imports (Not required but nice to have), audience strategy, bidding strategy, and campaign optimization.
The right person must understand how to generate quality leads, not just clicks, impressions, or cheap form submissions.
About the Role
You will help create, manage, monitor, and optimize Google Ads campaigns for local and service-based businesses.
The main goal is to generate qualified leads at a profitable cost.
You must be able to analyze campaign performance, identify wasted spend, improve conversion rates, lower cost per lead, and help improve lead quality.
You should be comfortable working with Search campaigns, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube campaigns, remarketing, conversion tracking, landing page recommendations, negative keyword strategy, keyword research, audience signals, and bid strategy testing.
Responsibilities
? Build and optimize Google Search campaigns for lead generation
? Research keywords, search intent, competitors, and customer buying behavior
? Create strong campaign structures based on services, locations, and intent level
? Write and test ad copy that attracts qualified prospects
? Set up and manage negative keyword lists to reduce wasted spend
? Monitor search terms and identify new opportunities
? Optimize bidding strategies based on the campaign’s stage and available conversion data
? Improve cost per lead, conversion rate, and lead quality
? Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking
? Work with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion actions, and call tracking when needed
? Help set up offline conversion tracking when possible (not required but nice to have)
? Analyze campaign data and explain what is working, what is not working, and what should be changed
? Provide clear weekly updates and recommendations
? Suggest landing page improvements to increase conversions
? Stay updated on Google Ads changes, including AI Max for Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, broad match changes, automation, bidding strategies, and reporting changes
Required Experience
? 5+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience
? Proven experience managing lead generation campaigns
? Strong experience with Google Search campaigns
? Strong understanding of keyword match types, search intent, negative keywords, and campaign structure
? Experience with Performance Max campaigns
? Experience with YouTube or Demand Gen campaigns is a plus
? Experience with local service businesses, such as home services, HVAC, plumbing, restoration, legal, or similar industries is a strong plus
? Strong understanding of conversion tracking and attribution
? Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4
? Ability to analyze data and explain findings clearly
? Ability to improve lead quality, not just lead volume
? Ability to work independently and make smart recommendations
? expeienced with meat ads is also a plus but not required. (do let us know if you have experience with meta)
