Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Video Editor & Social Media Assistant to support content creation and distribution for a growing personal brand focused on branding, marketing, entrepreneurship, and business strategy.
This role is ideal for someone with experience editing short-form content and who understands how to create engaging, high-quality videos that perform well on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
This is a part-time, remote position with consistent weekly work and the opportunity to grow alongside the brand over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit 5–10 short-form videos per week (Reels, Shorts, and similar content)
- Add clean, professional captions and subtitles
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing, flow, visual interest, and compelling hooks
- Format content appropriately for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
- Organize raw footage and completed content within shared cloud folders
- Schedule social media content posts following onboarding and training
- Maintain consistency in visual style, quality, branding, and turnaround times
- Communicate proactively regarding project status, deadlines, and content needs
Time Commitment:
- 8–10 hours per week

Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience editing short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Experience scheduling content through social media management platforms
- Strong understanding of viewer engagement, pacing, storytelling, and content hooks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, organized, and able to consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after onboarding
- Strong communication and time-management skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience editing content for coaches, consultants, speakers, educators, or personal brands
- Familiarity with current social media trends and content best practices
