I need a GoHighLevel (GHL) expert to help me with workflow
builds and account improvements I shouldn't be spending my
own time on.
I am intermediate in GHL — I use it daily, I can build basic
workflows myself, A2P is already done. I'm hiring because I
want someone who knows GHL more deeply than I do.
Specific work I need help with:
- Building workflows that tag leads based on which pages they
visit on my website
- Integrating my personal text messages and
so all communication with leads/customers lives in one place
- Building and refining complex automated workflows
- Cleaning and structuring contact data, tags, custom fields,
custom values
- Suggesting improvements I haven't thought of
What I'm NOT hiring:
- Someone learning GHL on my dime
- A "GHL VA" who just clicks buttons I direct them to
- A generalist who knows multiple CRMs but specializes in none
Important note on access:
You will NOT have access to my contact list, conversations,
or opportunity pipeline in your first 60-90 days. My leads
are my business. You'll build and test workflows in a sandbox
sub-account with test contacts only. I'll deploy your work to
the live account myself, or grant scoped access as trust is
established. If this approach is a dealbreaker for you, this
role isn't a fit — and that's fine.
Pay: $15-20/hour, OR per-project pricing for specific builds.
Tell me your preference.
QUESTIONS — answer all 8 honestly. The depth and specificity
of your answers is how I'll know you're serious about this
role, not how many Apply Points you used.
1. Tell me about the GHL clients or accounts you currently
work on. How many? What industries? How long have you been
with each? (Don't name the clients — describe them.)
2. What's the longest you've worked with a single client, and
why did the relationship end (or why is it still going)?
3. Describe a time you made a mistake on a client's GHL
account. What happened? How did you handle it with the
client? What did you change in your process afterward?
4. Describe a time a client asked you to do something in GHL
that you thought was a bad idea. What did you do?
5. What's something about GHL that frustrates you, even as
someone who knows it well?
6. If a client gave you full admin access to their GHL account
on Day 1, what would you NOT do in the first 30 days, even
if they gave you permission?
7. What other tools do you use alongside GHL regularly? (Slack,
Zapier, Make, Mailgun, Twilio, Google Workspace, etc.)
8. Why are you applying to my role specifically? What about it
appealed to you over other GHL jobs you could apply to?
TO APPLY:
- Use a multiple of 7 Apply Points (7, 14, 21, 28, etc.).
7 is enough if your answers are thoughtful. I'd rather see
7 AP with great specific answers than 28 AP with generic
ones.
- Start your message with the word "Snapshot"
- Answer all 8 questions. Skipping any = automatic rejection.
- Specificity is everything. "I am hardworking and reliable"
tells me nothing. "I worked with a Texas-based med spa for
14 months building their lead intake and review request
workflows" tells me something.
