Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Podcast Video Editor to transform raw podcast recordings into professional, polished multicam video episodes using Autopod AI Podcast Editor.
This role focuses on efficiently editing full podcast episodes into engaging multicam-style videos ready for YouTube, Spotify Video, and other platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Download raw podcast materials (video clips, audio files, transcripts, etc.) from provided Google Drive links
Import and organize all raw footage into Autopod AI
Use Autopod AI to create high-quality multicam podcast edits, including:
Automatic speaker detection and switching
Smooth camera angle transitions
Zoom/pan effects on speakers when talking
Clean cuts and removal of dead air, mistakes, and filler content
Basic color correction and audio enhancement
Add simple lower thirds, intros/outros, and branding elements as needed
Export final videos in the required resolutions and formats (typically 1080p or 4K)
Deliver edited episodes with proper naming convention and upload to designated folder/drive
Maintain consistent quality and style across all episodes
Requirements:
Proven experience editing podcasts, especially multicam or talking-head content
Strong proficiency with Autopod AI Podcast Editor (must be experienced – this is mandatory)
Comfortable working with Google Drive for downloading and uploading large files
Good understanding of podcast post-production workflow
Ability to deliver clean, broadcast-quality edits
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Reliable internet connection and sufficient computer specs to handle 4K video editing
Availability to turn around episodes within agreed timelines (usually 24–48 hours per episode)
Preferred Skills:
Experience editing for YouTube podcast channels
Basic motion graphics or After Effects knowledge (a plus)
Familiarity with tools like Descript, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Understanding of podcast SEO best practices (titles, descriptions, chapters, thumbnails)
Job Type: Freelance / Contract (per episode or monthly retainer possible)
Compensation: Competitive rate per episode (based on experience and episode length)
