THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a skilled and performance-driven Graphic Designer with motion graphics experience to join our Performance Creative team at Caraway Home. This is a project-based, part time temporary engagement focused on supporting existing workflows.
In this role you will design, create, and iterate on static, carousel, GIF, and motion graphic ads optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid social platforms. Must have experience with paid social (meta ads), performance creative, performance marketing, and/or growth marketing creative.

You excel at creating and optimizing static images, carousels, GIFs, and motion graphics that align with paid social standards and perform on platforms like Meta and TikTok. You balance technical skill with creative innovation, manage multiple projects at once, communicate clearly, and are always looking for ways to improve and deliver high-quality creative assets.
ENGAGEMENT SCOPE & DELIVERABLES
1. GRAPHIC DESIGN & CREATIVE PRODUCTION
Design and deliver high-quality static, carousel, GIF, and motion graphic ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and other paid social platforms
Create engaging motion graphics and animations optimized for each platform
Retouch, resize, and organize creative files in a timely manner
Provide ongoing graphic design support for growth marketing channels
2. QUALITY ASSURANCE & BRAND CONSISTENCY
Ensure accuracy and consistency across all creative assets including formatting, visual alignment, and brand guidelines
Maintain continuity across ads to ensure cohesive brand representation
3. COLLABORATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Communicate clearly on timelines, progress, and revisions with the team
Collaborate cross-functionally to align creative with campaign goals
Work efficiently and turn around assets quickly in a high-volume environment
EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES
3+ years of graphic design or creative production experience
1+ year producing creative assets for paid social channels
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and optionally Premiere Pro
Strong skills in motion graphics, GIFs, and static design for paid social
Must have experience in performance or growth marketing and an understanding of how creative drives business results
Strong knowledge of design best practices for Meta, TikTok, and other ad platforms
Excellent attention to detail and quality control
Ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and work independently
Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate with a US-based team
Familiarity with Asana and Slack is a plus
Prior experience at a DTC brand or in a performance-driven creative environment is highly preferred
ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
Duration: Temporary engagement (estimated 3 months), with an option to extend
Expected commitment: 10-30 hours per week; 2 hours that overlap with PST time zones
Working style: Independent contractor operating with a high degree of autonomy while coordinating with Caraway’s Performance Creative team for inputs and approvals
