JOB OVERVIEW

Only Candidates that send over an introduction video will be considered. This is a full-time position with some scheduling flexibility while core availability is expected, we are open to accommodating your time zone on certain days of the week.

Kitchen & Bath Authority has been serving the home improvement industry for 23 years. We are growing our digital team and looking for a results-driven SEO specialist with hands-on experience in modern search, backlink building, and AI-driven optimization strategies.

What You'll Do:

• Manage on-page SEO across product and category pages title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, and schema markup
• Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, editorial placements, guest posting, and digital PR
• Optimize content for AI Overviews (AIO) and Generative Image Optimization (GIO) to capture visibility on AI-powered search surfaces
• Conduct keyword research across our kitchen, bath, and lighting product verticals
• Plan and produce SEO blog content — AI writing tools are welcome, with strong human editing and optimization required
• Report monthly on rankings, traffic, and backlink growth using GA4, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs or SEMrush

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce
• Must submit at least 2 case studies or documented examples of past SEO success, show us where you started, what you did, and the measurable results
• Proven backlink acquisition experience with a clear outreach process
• Working knowledge of AIO, GIO, and structured data for AI search surfaces
• Proficiency in GSC, GA4, Ahrefs or SEMrush, and technical SEO auditing
• Ability to work independently and communicate results clearly

Nice to Have

• Experience in home improvement or home décor e-commerce
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
