**Experienced Funding Manager & Appointment Setter — Business Funding**
We are hiring an experienced **Funding Manager & Appointment Setter** to qualify leads, book consultations, manage client files, build funding strategies, and guide clients through business funding applications.
This is a combined role. You must be comfortable following up with prospects and booking qualified appointments while managing active clients through the funding process.
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who already understands credit repair, funding applications, lender requirements, and client communication.
Our company helps entrepreneurs and business owners improve their credit profiles and secure funding. We’re looking for someone who can keep leads and client files moving professionally, accurately, and efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
**Appointment Setting & Lead Follow-Up**
* Contact leads through calls, texts, emails, and approved messaging channels.
* Qualify prospects based on funding needs, credit profile, business history, and readiness to move forward.
* Explain our services clearly without promising approvals or specific funding amounts.
* Book qualified consultations on our team’s calendar.
* Send appointment confirmations and reminders.
* Follow up with unresponsive leads, missed appointments, and prospects who need more time.
* Answer common questions and handle initial objections professionally.
* Keep accurate notes, lead statuses, and follow-up tasks in our CRM.
* Work toward agreed goals for outreach, qualified appointments, and attendance.
**Funding Management & Client Support**
* Review client credit reports and assess funding readiness.
* Understand how utilization, inquiries, late payments, collections, charge-offs, and tradelines affect funding options.
* Help create funding plans based on credit, income, business profile, banking history, and lender requirements.
* Identify credit issues that need attention before applying.
* Collect and organize client documents.
* Prepare clients for applications and explain next steps.
* Assist with or submit funding applications where permitted, using proper client authorization and accurate information.
* Communicate with clients, banks, lenders, and funding partners.
* Track approvals, denials, pending applications, conditions, and funding amounts.
* Update client records and application statuses in our CRM.
* Follow up consistently on missing documents and outstanding requirements.
* Help improve our appointment-setting and funding processes.
**Required Experience**
You must already have experience with:
* Appointment setting, lead qualification, and prospect follow-up.
* Speaking with prospects by phone and handling common objections.
* Credit repair and credit report review.
* Business funding and personal credit-based funding.
* Credit card funding, business credit cards, and lines of credit.
* Funding applications and client file management.
* CRM systems, calendar scheduling, and application tracking.
* Bank or lender communication.
* Working remotely and handling sensitive financial information securely.
Experience with 0% APR funding, business credit building, underwriting, or funding broker operations is a major plus.
**Important Requirements**
We are looking for someone who is:
* Confident and professional on the phone.
* Clear and responsive in written communication.
* Organized enough to balance lead follow-up with active funding files.
* Detail-oriented when reviewing documents and applications.
* Reliable with daily outreach, reminders, and client updates.
* Comfortable following scripts, checklists, and established workflows.
* Able to explain funding steps clearly.
* Honest, professional, and accountable.
You must handle client information securely and complete applications only with proper consent and accurate information. False information, misleading promises, and questionable tactics are not acceptable.
**Compensation & Schedule**
* **Pay:** $5–$8 per hour, depending on experience.
* **Additional compensation:** Commission/bonus per successful funding file.
* **Position type:** Part-time to full-time.
* **Location:** Remote.
* **Start date:** ASAP.
This can grow into a long-term role for the right person.
**To Apply**
Please answer these five questions:
1. Briefly describe your experience with credit repair, business funding, and appointment setting.
2. What funding products have you helped clients get approved for, and what was your role in the application process?
3. How do you qualify leads, book appointments, and follow up with prospects who don’t respond?
4. What tools or systems have you used to manage leads and active client funding files?
5. What is your availability, time zone, and requested hourly rate? Are you comfortable with $5–$8/hour plus commission/bonuses per successful funding file?
**Ideal Candidate**
The ideal candidate has worked for a credit repair company, funding company, funding broker, or financial services business and has hands-on experience with both appointment setting and funding operations.
You can turn an inquiry into a qualified appointment, maintain consistent follow-up, and help clients move from credit review to funding strategy, applications, and decisions.
We want someone who can come in ready, follow our process, communicate well, and help us book more qualified appointments and complete more funding files.
