We are looking for a strategic, data-driven Social Media Strategist to lead content strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok,
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Planning
Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned to each client's business goals (brand awareness, lead gen, sales)
Research target audiences, competitors, and industry trends to inform content direction
Build and maintain monthly content calendars for Instagram, TikTok,
Define content pillars, posting cadences, tone of voice, and creative direction per client
Identify opportunities for organic growth through trending sounds, formats, and hashtags
Content Production Coordination
Write compelling captions, hooks, CTAs, and video scripts for all platforms
Brief the Video Editor and Graphic Designer with detailed creative directions
Review and approve content before scheduling — ensuring it aligns with strategy and brand guidelines
Source or coordinate UGC (User-Generated Content) and influencer collaboration opportunities
Community Management
Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions across all client accounts (or supervise a VA doing so)
Engage with the audience proactively — responding, liking, and building community
Identify and escalate any PR risks or negative sentiment quickly
Performance & Reporting
Track KPIs including reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, link clicks, and conversions
Produce monthly performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations
Run A/B tests on content formats, posting times, and messaging to optimise results
Stay current with algorithm changes across all four platforms and adjust strategy accordingly
Paid Social Coordination (a plus)
Assist in briefing and boosting high-performing organic content as paid ads
Coordinate with paid media team on targeting, creative formats, and budget allocation
TOOLS & PLATFORMS REQUIRED
Social scheduling: Buffer / Later / Hootsuite / Meta Business Suite
Analytics: Native platform insights + Sprout Social / Metricool / Google Analytics
Content planning: Notion / Airtable / Google Sheets
Design coordination: Canva (brief creation and light edits)
Communication: Slack / Zoom / Google Meet
Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager (a plus)
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2–3 years of social media management or strategy experience — ideally within a marketing agency
Demonstrated results: portfolio or case studies showing growth in followers, engagement, or leads
Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok,
Strong English copywriting skills — you can write captions that convert
Analytical mindset — comfortable interpreting data and translating it into strategy
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
Proactive, self-managed, and solutions-oriented
Understanding of content marketing, brand building, and digital funnels
