JOB OVERVIEW

Paradigm Consulting Services Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable full-time remote Electrical BIM Technician / Revit Draftsperson to support a growing workload of Australian commercial and government building projects.

The role involves preparation and modification of electrical services drawings and BIM models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD under the direction of the project engineer.

This is a long-term remote position suited to someone who is highly responsive, organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working within a fast-paced consultancy environment with active project deadlines.

Responsibilities include:
• Electrical drafting and BIM modelling
• Revit and AutoCAD documentation updates from engineering markups
• Lighting, power, communications, CCTV and fire services layouts
• Sheet setup, schedules and annotation
• Maintaining company drafting standards and workflows
• Coordination and communication during Australian business hours
• Managing drafting updates efficiently to help maintain project delivery timeframes

Requirements:
• Strong Autodesk Revit experience
• Strong AutoCAD experience
• Experience with electrical building services projects
• Good English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and suitable computer hardware
• Ability to work consistently during agreed working hours
• Ability to acknowledge and action tasks promptly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow markups accurately
• Comfortable working in a structured and deadline-driven environment

• This role requires reliable daily communication and responsiveness during working hours
• Candidates should be comfortable receiving regular markups, updates and drafting tasks throughout the day
• Fast turnaround times and proactive communication are highly valued
• Direct communication with the project engineer is required
